Great day at the Junior TOP GUNS at Oakleigh Go Kart Club with Haase drivers on podium both in round 1 and round 2.
ROUND 1 - Adam Macrow report
Jai Sparey and Bradley James Locked out the front row in qualifying for KA4 Junior light, in their AMR powered HAASE Destroyer chassis, which has already proved to be the chassis to beat on the new Bridgestone tyre.
Jai went on to win every heat, winning the last 2 heats by 7 and 7.9 secs.
Ben Dalia and Jack Martin also locked out the front row in Qualifying for AMR in KA4 Junior Heavy while Dylan Hollis qualified 1st (3 Haase chassis in the top 3) and won both heats and final.
Josh Hocking grabbed p2 in Qualifying for AMR in Cadet 12 and went on to win 2 out of the 3 heats.
Fraser Carr did a fantastic job in Cadet 9 finishing 3rd for the day in his HAASE Bomber chassis.
Great job to everyone, time to rest up and do it all again for round 2 tomorrow!
ROUND 2 - Report
KA4 Junior light:
Qualifying saw Jai Sparey ahead of Bradley James then Nicholas Schembri and Jai Stephenson – Sparey in the staggering time of 41.152. As he did in round 1, Jai went on to win both heats and took and easy win the final.
KA4 Junior heavy:
Fastest lap in qualifying today was significantly quicker than yesterday with Hollis setting a 41.549 against Benjamin D’Alia’s 42.13 on Friday, D’Alia 2nd then Jack Martin.
Dylan Hollis was the outstanding leader for the day, winning both heats and crossing the line first for the final win.
Jack Martin and Ben Dalia were 2nd and 3rd with 3 Haase drivers all on podium !
