Jorn Haase 1982 - Formula K 135cc race in 1982.Jorn Haase only starts racing at the age of 17 when, with the first money earned, manages to buy his first used chassis and takes part to some races in Denmark, where he lives.
Although with little means, soon he starts being noticed at national level and, year after year, starts winning important races, national championships and international races in Sweden, Germany and nearby countries.
September 1984, celebrating the victory of the World Championship Formula K 135cc, in Liedolsheim, Germany.The many race results obtained in Scandinavia spread out the borders and some Italian kart manufacturers got interested in the Danish driver; in 1983 Jorn Haase moves to Italy and becomes the official driver for an Italian kart manufacturer resulting in more possibilities for testing, developing new ideas and more racing at international level.
In 1984, Jorn Haase is World Champion in Formula K 135cc, the top class, confirming his experience and talent.
The following year he is on the world podium again but, due to a wrong tyres choice for the final, only in 3rd position.
From 1984 on, the races won everywhere in the world are countless. Winner in Australia, winner of the World Cup in Japan and the Hong Kong International Gran Prix, Jorn Haase also conquered the famous Champions' Cup in Jesolo and continues his brilliant racing career till 1989 when he decides to stop and start the new adventure of producing his own chassis.
