Outstanding win of Mikko Nassi in the DD2 class of the Malaysian Rotax Challenge !
The September 8-9 weekend was the fifth round of the Rotax Max Challenge at the Indrapura Kart Circuit in Pekan, Malaysia. The weather for the weekend was unpredictable: some heavy rain showers, but intense heat when the sun emerged.
The DD2 category went first, with heavy rain still
falling and a lot of standing water on the track; Mikko Nassi grabbed pole by almost a second from his nearest
rival, with Freddy Lawan (Haase-Edox)taking 5th spot.
Mikko, continued his domination of the DD2 category for the whole weekend, coming first in both heats, the Pre-Final and the Final.
Freddy had a good weekend getting a 3rd place podium for the
DD2 Masters category.
